Virtual Assistant Training: Your Kickoff Call Checklist

Virtual Assistant Training: Your Kickoff Call Checklist

After we find a virtual assistant to work with you (through our long-term assistant feature) we suggest that you schedule a kickoff call with your assistant to go over the scope of work and to set expectations.

To make the best use of everyone's time, we suggest you cover the following topics on your call:

  1. Introduce yourself and your role at your company

  2. Provide a brief overview of your company

  3. Give an outline of the scope of work that you will need the assistant to preformed over the course of time

  4. Outline the days of the week and times that you will typically need support so the assistant knows when to be available

  5. Train the assistant on any special tools that you use or any processes at your company

  6. Allow the assistant to ask questions

  7. Confirm next steps and/or set a timeline for the work you will be outsourcing

  8. Try to create, send, and curate document living documents/instructions (through Google Drive) to share with your assistant. Doing this will ensure continued success after the kickoff call.
