4 Ways A Virtual Assistant Can Help With Growth
Growth hacking jobs are becoming more and more popular and people who have experience in the field are a hot commodity. According to a recent study by indeed.com, growth hackers have an average salary of $82,000. For early stage startups, this is a significant expense that can be spent elsewhere.
When you think of an assistant, most people think of outsourcing their busy work, but who says assistants can’t help with growth?
Here at Byron, we’re doing just that. Like all startups, we are utilizing a series of growth hacks to accelerate our marketing and sales initiatives. With having a small number of employees there comes a challenge of implementing all of our growth hack ideas, not to mention trying to optimize them for even more growth. To find a balance in this we have turned to our virtual assistants to help execute our growth hacks. Here are some of the ways we’re utilizing our assistants to increase brand awareness and users.
1. Lead Generation
This one may be an obvious one, but you will be shocked to hear how many high paying sales reps are spending between 30-50% of their day pulling leads to fill their pipeline. We’ve connected Byron to our lead generation tool and have our assistants pull between 100-300 new leads per week. On top of that, we use our rules feature to have Byron remember to export our CRM load template. Overall this cuts down hours of work per week.
2. Scheduling Inbound Leads + Synopsis
If you’re utilizing outbound emails as part of your lead generation strategy then you will save massive amounts of time copying in your assistant to schedule those meetings for you. As your assistant schedules those meetings they can also provide research on the prospects. We generally have our assistants provide people on the call, titles, reason why they wanted to take the meeting, location, and one fun fact or current event about the prospect’s company.
3. Social Media
Give your marketing manager a break with posting your latest blog post to the 5+ channels that you syndicate and promote your content on. Create a plan and have your assistant implement that workflow. Also have your assistant pull analytic reports (Twitter for example) and provide a report of the highest preforming posts to continue to optimize on the top performers.
4. Blog Posts & SEO
Assistants who have excellent writing skills can help push out more content. The best part is that they are pretty self-sufficient when it comes to this category. They can do the research on the topic to write about, research required to write the post, and write it themselves. Furthermore, they can find new avenues to syndicate the content they write. We have Byron track down articles and forums that address the topics we wrote about.
